Heroic Entries Are Still Available

At-large entries for this year's Heroic are still available.  If you would like to participate, email the Director at lewskimn@yahoo.com with your name and mailing address.   A reminder that in the spirit of this event, you must wear a woolen jersey and carry a spare tube or tire "heroic style."  The use of a vintage steel frame era bike is also highly encouraged.  If you have any questions regarding these requirements please contact the Director.

2013 Registration Begins September 5th.

At-large entries for this year's Heroic will be accepted beginning Thursday, September 5th at 6am. Please email your name and home address to the Director at lewskimn@yahoo.com.  Entries will be accepted in the order they are received up until the participation limit of 50 is reached. You will be notified by return email if your entry is accepted.  Please refer to the 2012 Information link for further information and participation requirements for this event. 

A reminder that if you finished last year's race within the time-back limit (the "leaders group") you have an automatic entry into this year's race.  Please email the Director if you intend to participate in this year's event.   

This year's Heroic Bike Race takes place on Saturday, October 5th, 2013.

2013 Heroic and Registration Information

This year's Heroic Bike Race will take place Saturday, October 5th, 2013. 

On-line registration will begin September 5th.  Entries are limited and will be processed in the order they are received.

L'Erocia 2012

A Heroic Day!

Thank you to all participants who made the 2012 Heroic Bike Race another terrific day! A Recap and Results page (and hopefully, some pictures) will be posted in the next day or two. 

Park Directions

For those of you traveling down Hwy 52 from the Twin Cities on Saturday: Don't make the mistake of taking the wrong exit for Byllesby Park.  The exit sign you see for "Lake Byllesby Park" is the county park.  That is the wrong one!  Make sure you ignore that exit sign and travel all the way down to the Hwy 19 exit at Cannon Falls and then turn right.  About a mile down the road you will see the park on your right.

Looks like "Heroic" weather for Saturday.  Come prepared!
