The Heroic is a gravel road bicycle race inspired by L' Eroica, a citizen bicycling event held each October on the "white roads" of Tuscany, Italy. The race pays homage to the yesteryear of cycling, when bike races were great tests of courage and determination and legends like Coppi, Bartoli, Merckx and Anquetil were the heroes of their day.
